Danish public research university in Aarhus, founded in 1928 and the second oldest university in the country. Its Faculty of Health runs departments of biomedicine, clinical medicine, forensic medicine, public health and dentistry with research in molecular pharmacology, membrane proteins and neuroscience, and works with Aarhus University Hospital on clinical trials, while the Faculty of Natural Sciences and the Department of Chemistry support medicinal chemistry and drug delivery research.
