Bradford Particle Design

British company at Bradford in Yorkshire, founded in 1995 out of research at the University of Bradford, which developed the SEDS process for making fine particles using supercritical carbon dioxide. Applied the technique to produce particles of controlled size and form for inhaled and injectable medicines and worked with pharmaceutical partners on formulation, and was bought by Inhale Therapeutic Systems in 2001 in a deal worth about two hundred million dollars.
