Centre for Aromatic Plants

Indian state research and extension institute at the industrial estate in Selaqui near Dehradun, set up by the government of Uttarakhand in 2003 as an autonomous body of the state medicinal plant board. Works on aromatic crops for the hill state, surveying and improving planting material, running distillation and extraction facilities for essential oils, testing oil quality, training farmers and entrepreneurs and helping them market their produce as a business incubator for the aromatic sector.
