Chinese public university in Nanjing, Jiangsu, founded in 1936 as the National Pharmaceutical Special School and the first higher pharmaceutical education institution in China, now a national key university under the Ministry of Education. Teaches and researches across pharmacy, pharmaceutical engineering, traditional Chinese pharmacy, life sciences, biopharmaceuticals, pharmaceutical analysis, clinical pharmacy and international pharmaceutical business, awarding bachelor, master and doctoral degrees and working closely with the Chinese pharmaceutical industry on drug discovery and technology transfer.
