South Korean national university in Yuseong-gu, Daejeon, founded in 1952 and the leading national university of the Chungcheong region. Runs a College of Pharmacy teaching the integrated six year pharmacy programme, a College of Medicine with Chungnam National University Hospital, a College of Veterinary Medicine and colleges of natural sciences, engineering and agriculture and life sciences, and carries out research in drug delivery, medicinal chemistry, pharmacology, veterinary medicines and biotechnology with its own analytical and animal facilities.
