Comenius University

Slovak public university in Bratislava, founded in 1919 and the country's largest and oldest university, named after the educator Jan Amos Comenius. Teaches through faculties of pharmacy, medicine at Bratislava and Martin, natural sciences with chemistry and biology, and law, arts and management, works with the Bratislava university hospital for clinical teaching, and carries out research in pharmaceutical chemistry and technology, pharmacognosy, pharmacology and toxicology and environmental science with its own laboratories.
