CSIRO, Australia's national research body, showcases its RAFT controlled polymerization technology, which simplifies surface coatings, sustained release systems and bio-conjugation, or can be used as excipients. Its continuous flow chemistry facility, FloWorks, works with chemical industry clients to convert batch processes into continuous ones, reducing power consumption, waste and footprint, and has developed 3D metal-printed catalytic static mixers coated in catalysts as flow reactor inserts, along with MOF-based intelligent membranes for continuous filtration and pervaporation, plus a small molecule compound library from prior medchem, veterinary and agchem projects available for screening.
