Energy and petroleum Authority Kenya

Kenyan government regulator in Nairobi, established under the Energy Act of 2019 out of the earlier energy regulatory commission. Licenses and inspects electricity, renewable energy and petroleum undertakings, sets tariffs and fuel prices, monitors the quality of petroleum products through its own testing laboratories, enforces safety and environmental standards for fuel handling and advises the government on energy policy.
