Spanish national school of health in Madrid, founded in 1924 and now part of the Instituto de Salud Carlos III, the country's public health and biomedical research institute. Runs postgraduate teaching and continuing education for public health professionals, with master's programmes and courses in public health, health administration and management, epidemiology, health economics and evaluation, trains medical and pharmacy specialists in preventive medicine and public health, and publishes teaching material and research on health services and policy.
