Ethiopian government ministry in Addis Ababa responsible for science, innovation and technology policy, which took its present name in 2018 out of the earlier ministry of science and technology. Sets national policy for research and innovation, funds and coordinates research institutes and technology transfer, oversees standards and metrology bodies and information technology development, and supports biotechnology and pharmaceutical manufacturing initiatives in the country.
