American academic hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, opened in 1980 on the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center campus and the adult teaching hospital of the Medical College of Wisconsin. Provides tertiary and quaternary care with the region's only adult level one trauma centre, transplantation, cancer services at the Froedtert and MCW Cancer Center, cardiovascular, neurosciences and burn services, and runs its own laboratories, imaging and pharmacy together with clinical trials with the medical college.
