Indian deemed to be university headquartered in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, founded in 1980 as the Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management and granted deemed university status in 2007, with additional campuses in Hyderabad and Bengaluru. Teaches across engineering, science, management, law, architecture, humanities, medicine, nursing and pharmacy, and its GITAM School of Pharmacy offers Bachelor of Pharmacy, Master of Pharmacy, Doctor of Pharmacy and doctoral programmes together with pharmaceutical research.
