Pakistani subsidiary of the British pharmaceutical group GSK, headquartered in Karachi and listed on the Pakistan Stock Exchange, formed in 2001 by the merger of the local operations of SmithKline and French, Beecham and Glaxo Wellcome and the largest pharmaceutical company in the country. Manufactures and markets prescription medicines and vaccines across anti infectives, respiratory, dermatology, vaccines and general medicines from plants in Karachi, and separated its consumer healthcare business in 2019.
