American non-profit research and development organisation at Bellevue in Washington state, funded by Gates Ventures and created out of the global good work of Intellectual Ventures, which invents technologies for health care in low resource settings. Develops diagnostics and point of care testing, maternal and newborn health devices, oxygen and respiratory technologies, cold chain and vaccine delivery tools and low cost medical devices, and works with manufacturers, ministries of health and global health organisations to take them into use in low and middle income countries.
