Indian private pharmacy institute established in 1990 at Majhitar near Rangpo in Pakyong district, Sikkim, set up to make use of the medicinal plant resources of the Himalayan region and the first institution to teach pharmacy in the state. Independent, co-educational and self financed, it offers Diploma in Pharmacy, Bachelor of Pharmacy, Master of Pharmacy and doctoral programmes with research on Himalayan medicinal plants.
