Hospital do Espírito Santo

Portuguese public hospital in Évora in the Alentejo, whose origins as a charitable hospital go back to the sixteenth century and which is the referral hospital for the central Alentejo. Provides emergency and intensive care, internal medicine and surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics, oncology and outpatient specialties for the region, teaches students of the University of Évora and other schools, and runs its own hospital pharmacy, clinical laboratory and imaging services.
