Spanish public hospital at Algeciras in the province of Cádiz, opened in 1978 and run by the Andalusian health service, the main hospital of the Campo de Gibraltar and recently recognised as a university hospital. Provides emergency and intensive care, internal medicine and surgery, obstetrics and paediatrics, nephrology and dialysis, oncology and outpatient specialties across about three hundred and thirty beds, and runs its own hospital pharmacy, clinical laboratory and imaging services.
