iraqi board for medical specialization

Iraqi postgraduate medical education body in Baghdad, established in 1986 under the Ministry of Health, which trains and certifies medical specialists. Runs residency and fellowship programmes in the medical, surgical, laboratory and dental specialties at accredited training centres in Iraqi hospitals, holds the specialist examinations and awards the Iraqi board certificate, and publishes the Iraqi Postgraduate Medical Journal.
