Chinese public medical university in Jilin City, Jilin province, whose origins lie in a military medical school of 1952 and which took its present name in 2004 after transferring to civilian control. Teaches clinical medicine, pharmacy, nursing, medical laboratory technology, medical imaging technology, biomedical engineering and public health, runs affiliated hospitals for clinical teaching and carries out research in pharmacology, radiation medicine and clinical laboratory science.
