Chinese protein synthesis company founded on 20 October 2015 in Fengxian district, Shanghai by Dr Guo Min together with more than ten returning doctoral researchers and professors. Combines its own D2P (DNA-to-Protein) cell-free in-vitro protein synthesis technology with innovative biopharmaceutical product development and protein sequence algorithms. D2P synthesises biologically active target proteins directly from DNA in a single step in about three hours using only water and DNA, at high throughput. The company built a five-tonne D2P protein production line in 2020, began a 160-tonne production base in the Minhang economic and technological development zone in July 2022 and reached 160-tonne batch scale in 2023, supplying protein products for biopharmaceuticals, innovative medical devices, cosmetics and aesthetic medicine, food and animal and plant nutrition.
