King Abdullah University Hospital

Jordanian teaching hospital at Ar Ramtha near Irbid in the north of the country, opened in 2002 as the university hospital of the Jordan University of Science and Technology and one of the largest hospitals in Jordan. Provides tertiary care across the medical and surgical specialties including cardiac surgery and catheterisation, oncology, neurosurgery, transplantation, obstetrics and paediatrics with emergency and intensive care, and runs its own clinical laboratories, blood bank, imaging services and hospital pharmacy with teaching, residency training and clinical research.
