Lviv Polytechnic National University

Ukrainian public technical university in Lviv, founded in 1816 and the oldest technical university in the country. Its Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technologies teaches and researches organic and pharmaceutical chemistry, biotechnology and biologically active compounds, technology of biologically active substances, pharmacy and cosmetics, and the university also runs institutes of engineering, computer science, architecture and economics with laboratories, pilot plants and industry collaboration on drug synthesis and fine chemicals.
