Indian pharmacy college in Manipal, Udupi district, Karnataka, a constituent institution of the Manipal Academy of Higher Education. Established in 1963 offering a Diploma in Pharmacy, it became a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree college in 1965, was the first college in Karnataka to offer a Master of Pharmacy in 1970 and added the Doctor of Pharmacy programme in 2008. Offers Diploma, Bachelor, Master and Doctor of Pharmacy programmes with departments including pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacology, pharmacognosy, pharmacy management and pharmacy practice, the last based at the Kasturba Medical College hospital, and ranks among the leading pharmacy institutions in India and in the QS subject rankings for pharmacy and pharmacology.
