Public university at Bobo-Dioulasso in Houet province, Burkina Faso, opened in 1995 as the Polytechnic University of Bobo-Dioulasso and renamed after the writer and politician Nazi Boni. Teaches through training and research units in health sciences with medicine and pharmacy, rural development with agronomy and animal production, exact and applied sciences with chemistry and biology, and engineering and economics, and runs its own teaching and research laboratories with links to the Bobo-Dioulasso teaching hospital.
