Omdurman Ahlia University

Sudanese private non-profit university in Omdurman, founded in 1986 by public subscription as the country's first Ahlia or community funded university. Teaches through faculties of health sciences with medical laboratory sciences and nursing, computer science and information technology, engineering, administrative sciences, arts and law, and runs its own laboratories, library and research centres, its work disrupted by the war in Sudan.
