Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University

Indian state veterinary university at Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh, established in 2005 when the veterinary, fisheries and dairy faculties were separated from the state agricultural university. Teaches through colleges of veterinary science, fishery science and dairy technology across the state with postgraduate and doctoral programmes, runs veterinary teaching hospitals, disease diagnostic laboratories and livestock and poultry research stations, and carries out research in animal health, veterinary pharmacology and toxicology, feed and fodder and fisheries.
