Synlotic Biotech (Shanghai) Co.,Ltd, established in June 2020 as Shanghai Yunluosheng Technology Co., Ltd. to develop green, sustainable synthetic biology solutions, manufactures and exports active pharmaceutical ingredients, intermediates and fine chemicals, and pharmaceutical excipients, with core products built around Bose, Ikedoine, and ergothioneine compounds that the company holds patents on. Since beginning R&D on these core products in 2021, the company earned recognition as a Shanghai Science and Technology SME in 2023, completed a Series A financing round worth tens of millions of yuan in 2024, and broke ground on a new 7,000-square-meter Shandong factory in May 2025. Selling into the Asian market on FOB terms, the company positions itself on its own brand, experienced R&D personnel, delivery speed, production capacity, and a rich product line.
