Taiwanese biopharmaceutical company in Taipei, founded in 2001 and listed in Taiwan, which discovers and develops small molecule medicines. Best known for nemonoxacin, a non-fluorinated quinolone antibiotic sold as Taigexyn for community acquired pneumonia and licensed to partners in China and other markets, and it also works on burixafor, a CXCR4 antagonist for stem cell mobilisation and blood disorders, and on antiviral and haematology programmes, running its own medicinal chemistry and clinical development.
