The Hong Kong Polytechnic University

Hong Kong public university in Hung Hom, Kowloon, whose origins go back to a government trade school of 1937 and which became a university in 1994. Teaches and researches through the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences with the School of Optometry, nursing, rehabilitation sciences and medical laboratory science, the Department of Applied Biology and Chemical Technology with food safety and biotechnology, and faculties of engineering with biomedical engineering, and runs its own clinics, analytical laboratories and research institutes with work in Chinese medicine, drug analysis, biomedical devices and rehabilitation technology.
