Sudanese public teaching hospital in southwest Khartoum, built with a grant from the government of Turkey and operated by the Khartoum state ministry of health, serving a catchment of about 1.8 million people. Runs busy maternity and paediatric services alongside emergency and general care, and during the Sudanese conflict was supported by Medecins Sans Frontieres as one of the last functioning hospitals in the area until that support was suspended in 2024.
