Venezuelan public university in Caracas, founded in 1721 and the oldest and largest university in the country, whose modernist university city campus is a UNESCO world heritage site. Its Faculty of Pharmacy, one of the oldest in Latin America, teaches the pharmacy degree with departments of pharmaceutical technology, pharmacognosy and natural products, analytical chemistry, pharmacology and clinical pharmacy, alongside faculties of medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine and sciences and the university clinical hospital.
