Universidad Manuela Beltrán

Colombian private university in Bogotá with further campuses at Bucaramanga and Cajicá, founded in 1974 and named after the independence heroine Manuela Beltrán. Teaches health programmes including bacteriology and clinical laboratory, surgical instrumentation, nursing, physiotherapy, respiratory therapy and psychology together with biomedical engineering, and runs teaching laboratories, simulation centres and research groups in biomedical engineering, clinical laboratory science and public health.
