Brazilian state university in Londrina, Paraná, created in 1970 from the merger of earlier faculties and one of the largest universities in the south of the country. Teaches across health sciences including pharmacy, medicine, dentistry, nursing and nutrition, together with exact sciences, agriculture, engineering, law and the humanities, and its pharmacy course and postgraduate programmes run research in pharmaceutical sciences, clinical analysis, pharmacology and natural products with its own university hospital.
