Catholic university at Kananga in Kasaï-Central in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, founded by the bishops of the region in 1996 and opened in 1997 with campuses at Kananga and Kabinda. Teaches medicine and public health, agronomy, economics, law, theology and social sciences, trains doctors and health workers for a region with few such institutions, teaches in the hospitals of Kananga, and has been adding faculties as it grows.
