Belgian French speaking university in Brussels, founded in 1834, whose Faculty of Pharmacy teaches the pharmacy degree with laboratories in pharmaceutical and analytical chemistry, pharmaceutics and biopharmacy, pharmacognosy, microbiology and clinical pharmacy. The university runs medicine, science and engineering faculties, works with the Erasme university hospital on clinical pharmacology and clinical trials and carries out molecular biology and drug discovery research at its Gosselies biopark.
