University Hospital Coventry

British teaching hospital at Walsgrave in Coventry, England, whose present building opened in 2006 and which is run by University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust together with the Hospital of St Cross at Rugby. Serves the region with an emergency department and major trauma centre, acute medicine and surgery, cardiology and cardiac surgery, cancer services, maternity and neonatal care and a kidney transplant service, and runs its own laboratories, imaging services and hospital pharmacy with teaching for the University of Warwick medical school and clinical research.
