American public health sciences university at Fort Worth in Texas, part of the University of North Texas System and founded in 1970 as an osteopathic medical school. Runs the College of Pharmacy teaching the Doctor of Pharmacy with departments of pharmacotherapy and pharmaceutical sciences, the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, the School of Public Health, the School of Health Professions and a graduate school of biomedical sciences, and carries out research in pharmacology and neuroscience, ageing and Alzheimer's disease, health disparities and forensic genetics with its own clinics and laboratories.
