Coventry University

British university in Coventry in the west midlands, whose origins lie in a school of design of 1843 and which became a university in 1992, with further campuses in London and Scarborough. Teaches biomedical science, biological and forensic sciences, nursing and midwifery, physiotherapy, dietetics and pharmacology through its Faculty of Health and Life Sciences and engineering and computing through its other faculties, and carries out applied research in health and wellbeing, sport and exercise science and advanced manufacturing with its own laboratories and simulation facilities.
