Polish regional cancer centre in Wrocław, run by the Lower Silesian province and enlarged by merger with the regional pulmonology and haematology centres, one of the country's comprehensive cancer centres. Provides radiotherapy, chemotherapy and systemic treatment, surgical oncology, gynaecological oncology, haematology and stem cell transplantation and lung disease treatment, runs its own pathology, molecular diagnostics and imaging laboratories and a hospital pharmacy with cytotoxic drug preparation, and takes part in clinical trials and cancer screening programmes.
