Belgian public research university in Ghent, East Flanders, founded in 1817 and one of the largest universities in Belgium with eleven faculties. Its Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences teaches and researches pharmaceutical analysis, pharmaceutics, drug quality and registration, bioanalysis, pharmacology and medicinal chemistry, awarding Bachelor and Master of Pharmacy, Master in Drug Development and doctoral degrees and collaborating extensively with the pharmaceutical industry.
