Indian central university at Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh, founded in 1983 as a state university and made a central university in 2009, named after the social reformer Guru Ghasidas. Teaches through its institute of pharmacy, its departments of chemistry, biotechnology, forestry and industrial chemistry and its engineering and humanities faculties, runs pharmaceutical and analytical laboratories, and carries out research on medicinal plants of central India, drug formulation and natural products.
