Heidelberg University

German public research university in Heidelberg, Baden-Württemberg, founded in 1386 and the oldest university in Germany. Its Faculty of Biosciences and its Institute of Pharmacy and Molecular Biotechnology teach the German pharmacy degree and biosciences with work in pharmaceutical technology, pharmaceutical biology and medicinal chemistry, and the university also runs medical faculties at Heidelberg and Mannheim with the Heidelberg University Hospital, the German Cancer Research Center nearby and institutes in molecular biology, working on drug discovery, cancer therapy and clinical trials.
