French institute at Tours founded in 1961, which trains and informs doctors, nurses and technicians working in agricultural occupational health. Runs the national diploma and continuing courses in agricultural medicine, studies exposures on farms including pesticides, dusts, zoonoses and machinery risks, publishes guidance for occupational health services and works with the agricultural social insurance scheme.
