Portuguese engineering school in Porto, part of the Politécnico do Porto and tracing its origins to an industrial school of 1852, the country's oldest and one of its largest engineering schools. Teaches bachelor and master programmes in chemical and biological engineering, biomedical engineering, electrical, mechanical, civil, computer and systems engineering, and runs research groups and laboratories in chemical and biological process engineering, analytical chemistry and instrumentation and biomedical engineering with services to industry.
