Italian contract research organisation at Pomezia south of Rome, created in 2009 out of the Merck Research Laboratories site there and now trading as IRBM. Provides integrated drug discovery services in medicinal and computational chemistry, peptide chemistry, biology and assay development and drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics, works on antivirals, oncology and neuroscience programmes, and took part in the development of the Oxford COVID-19 vaccine through its adenovirus vector work.
