Varamin-Pishva branch of the Islamic Azad University, south east of Tehran in Iran, part of the large private university system founded in 1982. Teaches food science and technology, chemistry, biology, veterinary and agricultural subjects together with engineering and the humanities, runs laboratories for food and chemical analysis, and carries out research on food safety, natural products and applied chemistry.
