Izmir Kâtip Çelebi University

Turkish public university in İzmir, founded in 2010 and named after the seventeenth century scholar Kâtip Çelebi. Teaches through its faculty of medicine, its faculty of pharmacy, its faculty of dentistry and its faculty of health sciences, together with engineering and architecture and the social sciences, works with the Atatürk training and research hospital in the city for clinical teaching, and carries out research in pharmaceutical sciences, biomedical engineering and clinical medicine with its own laboratories.
