South Korean private university in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, founded in 1905 as Bosung College and one of the country's leading universities, with a further campus at Sejong. Runs a College of Pharmacy at the Sejong campus teaching the integrated pharmacy programme, a College of Medicine with the Korea University Medicine hospitals at Anam, Guro and Ansan, colleges of health sciences, life sciences and biotechnology and science, and carries out research in drug discovery and delivery, biotechnology and clinical trials.
