Libyan public university in Misurata on the Mediterranean coast, established in 1983 and one of the largest universities in the country. Runs faculties of medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, medical technology, science, engineering, information technology, agriculture, law, economics, arts and education, with its Faculty of Pharmacy teaching pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacognosy and pharmacology and awarding the pharmacy degree.
