National Research Centre

Egyptian national research centre at Dokki in Giza across the Nile from Cairo, founded in 1956 and the largest multidisciplinary research institution in the country, under the ministry of higher education and scientific research. Works through divisions for pharmaceutical and drug industries, medical research, chemical industries, food industries, biotechnology, textiles and agriculture, carries out research on drug synthesis and formulation, medicinal and aromatic plants, natural products and food and drug analysis, and provides analytical and consultancy services to Egyptian industry.
